I’ve been to sushi and ramen places all over and these guys are so under-rated. The sushi chef has been one for 15 years+ all over the country. He makes amazing rolls - tight and using great fish. We are beyond lucky to have this restaurant in Sun Prairie!!

We were really expecting a spectacular experience that comes with a small town authentic restaurant, but found it lacking. First, the service was lacking. We were left alone for a while, long enough that my companion and I wondered if they knew we were there as the guy who seated us was brand new. The server asked if we knew what we wanted to eat, and as soon as we decided on an appetizer, he tried to run away without asking if we wanted drinks at all. He just seemed to be in a hurry to be elsewhere the entire time. When we were finished eating, we couldn't find the guy. My friend stood up to grab a to-go container, and the guy came by a minute after I finished boxing the left overs along if we'd gotten the check yet. The tempura appetizer was pretty decent. If you like tempura, it's good. But after that the food was meh. I was disappointed that I couldn't order something child size for my toddler because there was no children's menu. So I had the choice to share something with her or pay $15 for a plate I knew she wouldn't eat 1/3 of. I choose to get the yaki soba plate to share. The flavor was pretty watered down. You couldn't even taste it on the chicken. My friend ordered one of the ramen dishes, which he said was spicy (a good thing) but it was lacking real flavor. Probably won't go back, but if we do, the sushi looks pretty good. The atmosphere was quaint. Make sure you go through the right door. The residential door is unlocked and not well marked. Oops. But the restaurant is cute, maybe even less than 10 tables, but comfortable seating. At the table is a container with pens, cocktail napkins, and disposable chopsticks. I don't know what the pens are for. The cocktail napkins worked well enough, although, they might be better off with real sized napkins. The readiness of the chopsticks was fantastic. Also love when you can watch the sushi counter. It was overall a cute place.

A friend recommended this place, because of its sushi and noodle dishes. We weren't disappointed. The sushi rolls are really good, we tried normal ones and kind of sweet ones , i never had sweet ones before, but both were really good. Even the price is good for the quality you are getting. Only the ambient is nothing special. But i prefer a simple looking Restaurant with awesome food, than high-end with bad food. This restaurant is definitely worth to check out.

I think we may have found some of the best sushi around. We decided to give it a try because we had heard good things about this new place and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We decided to sit at the sushi bar so we could watch them making up our sushi and were in awe at how easy they made it look. Everything we had was amazing and we will definitely be making this a regular stop. I know it's good when my wife and I both can't stop talking about it and look at each other with the expression of WOW with every bite. We had the Crazy Roll - simply amazing, Spicy Salmon Roll - a standard roll but way better than we've had anywhere else, and the Sushi Burrito - fully loaded with seafood and absolutely fantastic. Don't sleep on this place and get there as soon as you can and be ready for a great meal. We are looking forward to trying all the other menu options.

Hana is a great little japanese/sushi spot in downtown Sun Prairie. I have stopped in a couple times over lunch for sushi. It does not look like much from the front of the building but it is very clean with a nice simple modern design inside. I like their miso soup, it's fresh and flavourful. I have had their spicy rolls, tuna avocado, and Hawaiian. The Hawaiian is a larger roll of course and very tasty, they others are pretty standard lunch roll size but taste very good as well. They do serve beer and wine if you want. I have found their wait staff very friendly and attentive. I plan to put Hana on my sushi rotation.

Loved this Japanese restaurant, plenty of very tasty options. We really liked the Gilded Bee roll and the Crispy Tuna appetizer, an excellent combination of flavor and texture!

Recommended by another local business and pleasantly surprised at how great the sushi is! They have a great variety of rolls and traditional Japanese appetizers. I am a huge fan of mango in sushi rolls and they have a few on their menu but also usually do a rotation of special rolls which we ended up trying and it was my favorite. They even have ramen bowls which we have been told are very good, looking forward to coming back and trying more!
